Just in the nick of time, my lovely broker Tiffany of SmartLA Realty has found someone to lease my loft. The final price, for those of you who were betting - $5,250 a month for 16 months. Not as high as I would have liked, but still fits my budget nicely. At the end of the day, my adventure is a go, and I’m a happy camper!
Now it’s time to get my ass in gear and get the heck out of dodge! For those of you on my email list, you’ll get a message right away about me selling everything in my loft tomorrow. For those reading this late - you missed out, sorry, :( EVERYTHING MUST GO! I’ve decided not to get a storage unit, and that means I’ve got to sell everything I’ve accumulated over the last 5 years in the next week. Whew!
In addition, I’ve learned that I need to get a visa from the Indonesian consulate in advance. Unlike Scott and Jessie, who can get 30 visa’s on arrival, I’ll need an official visa to be able to extend my trip later. Passport photos today, paperwork on Tuesday, and I should get it just before I depart the following Thursday. No prob.
